Gardening Australia returns to ABC

24th February 2025

Gardening Australia returns for its 36th year on air, with inspiration and practical ideas to get your patch ready for autumn.

Inspiring, entertaining and full of practical advice, join Costa Georgiadis and the team as they unearth gardening ideas, meet avid gardeners and look at some of the most inspiring gardens from across the country.

Tammy meets a horticulturist whose naturalistic meadow garden is brimming with gorgeous flower and texture combinations. Costa visits a school where a disused soccer pitch has been converted to a small, productive farm for students to learn how to grow food.

Jerry looks at plants that are best kept contained in a pot, otherwise they can take over the entire garden if planted in-ground. Millie shares the wins, losses, and lessons learnt from some of her recent garden projects.

Josh explores unique Western Australian summer annuals blooming at Kings Park & Botanic Garden.

Clarence profiles spectacular lilly pillies with tasty berries, pretty flowers, and beautiful evergreen foliage.

Sophie checks out stunning glass artworks displayed at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, created by renowned glass artist, Dale Chihuly.

7:30pm Friday on ABC.
