The Seven Network is set to welcome a massive weekend of sport across the Easter long weekend, with blockbuster footy, horse racing, athletics and surfing for fans to enjoy live and free on Seven and 7plus Sport.

The first stop of the World Surf League’s Championship Tour reaches Torquay, Victoria, as the world’s best surfers descend on Bells Beach forthe 63rd annual Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.

The 11-day event period, which will determine who wins the event and rings the iconic bell trophy will be held from Wednesday, 1 April, to Saturday, 11 April, live and free on 7plus Sport from 8.00am AEDT.

The 2026 AFL Premiership Season continues into Round 4 with Thursday Night Footy, with the reigning premiers the Brisbane Lions taking on Collingwood in a rematch of the epic 2025 Preliminary Final.

The following day will see the return of the Good Friday SuperClash, as North Melbourne takes on Carlton at Marvel Stadium, live and free from 3.00pm AEDT on Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport. The annual Good Friday matchup between the two teams has raised over $2 million for the The Royal Children’s Hospital’s Good Friday Appeal since its introduction in 2017. The match will lead into 7NEWS at 6.00pm.

The huge weekend of footy concludes with the iconic Easter Monday clash between modern day rivals Hawthorn and the Geelong Cats in front of an expected sell-out crowd at the MCG. The highly anticipated matchup will wrap up a monster weekend of sport across the network, with the match available for fans live and free on Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport from 3.00pm AEST.

The Autumn Racing carnival continues on Saturday, making its way to Royal Randwick for the Championships Day 1, as well as at Caulfield for Easter Cup Day. Known as the Grand Finals of Australian racing, The Championships see the best thoroughbreds compete for over $25 million in prizemoney across two consecutive Saturdays.

The horses won’t be the only ones tearing up the turf on Saturday, with one of the world’s most famous and prestigious foot races – the Stawell Gift – returning to Seven.

American sprinting sensation Sha'Carri Richardson, the Olympic and World Athletics Championships gold medallist, will make her Stawell Gift debut, hoping to light up regional Victoria and win the event with no handicap advantage, something Gout Gout could not achieve at the 2025 event.
